Dr Chris Giezing has been involved in medical aesthetics since 2000.
In 2004 he opened one of the first fully-fledged aesthetic clinics in South Africa and has been passionately involved in this field ever since.
As the training director of the independent Medskills Training Academy, he believes that aesthetic medicine should be an integration of art and medicine using this as a core principle.
He trains extensively in botulinum toxin, fillers, and thread lifting techniques.
He believes in a 3D full face remodelling approach, and together with facial procedures, incorporates a variety of skin-enhancing treatments like chemical peels, skin boosters, and PRP into his full-face treatment
He is a regular speaker at conferences and for aesthetic companies and writes for various publications in his chosen fields.
He is one of the founder members of AAMSSA, as well as the Allergan Medical institute in SA, he has also been a key opinion leader for the Galderma filler portfolio (Restylane), Croma (LFL threads), ZO cosmeceuticals and Ipsen (Dysport®).
